ABOUT  THE  READER

          Scot Wilcox, 49, is a narrator and producer of audio textbooks at Texts In Audio.com. as well as a freelance writer and editor specializing in marketing communications. Previously, he earned an M.A. degree in American Studies at The University of Iowa, where he taught classes in Speech, Writing, Literature, and American Studies.  He has also served stints as a weekly newspaper publisher, educational adviser, information technology specialist, and staff writer for a direct response advertising agency.
          A husband and father of two, Scot found his calling reading stories out loud almost every evening -- at bedtime, around the fireplace, and anywhere else people gather together to enjoy a good book.
