Do keep in mind that most people read silently at a considerably faster pace than it takes them to read a book aloud. For example, there are people who started reading Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince upon its midnight release, and finished it before breakfast. By comparison, Jim Dale's excellent unabridged audio rendition runs for over19 hours.
